Virtualrain’s Inventory Management Committee guides our inventory programs to benefit our members.

Through expert panels, business seminars and our extensive network of wholesale distributors, inventory education and techniques is a high priority.

Our programs allow Purchasing Agents the ability to not only share best practices and successes, but to actually share inventory tools with one another to take advantage of early buy programs, incentives and rebate programs, maximizing inventory investments.




Virtualrain supports Members with technology services centered around e-commerce. Our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI Hub) is the core of business to business transactions among members. It is also the backbone of technology programs such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Data Mining.

Our Technology Team has built the largest unified product database in the Green Industry. Our digital assets include product information, spec sheets, images and videos that can be licensed in categories such as landscape, irrigation, outdoor living, drainage, lighting, and more! This data supports several e-commerce websites that reach contractors and consumers in North America. We provide the data for our custom Distributor Mobile Apps and online stores that allow our members to reach their customers in new and innovative ways.

Education is in the heart of Virtualrain, and our Education Team is focused on delivering the best content to our Members as well as Contractors to use. Our Education content has been viewed by thousands of users online to educate them not only on products, but also on business concepts such as estimating, budgeting and job costing. Virtualrain’s Education Portal allows Wholesale Distributors to offer a complete training curriculum to their customers at a very low cost.
